We know how much you missed the duo working together, slaving away at bringing you commoners some exclusive & elusive clothing to cop. Well we’re back baby!!! And this week Theo kicks things off.
Theodore
I’m excited about this week because I’m finally back into the full swing of running, which means I’ve been glazing all running products (which I was doing before but at least now I can buy them with a means of actually using them.
Satisfy Peaceshell Running Hat
This isn’t a new product from Satisfy, but it’s not a core design. I like a lot of these hats, but what catches my eye with this on in particular is the contrast stitching. The white stitch across the brown is always a hit.
I know in my review of the Hoka x Satisfy Clifton LS I talk about how much I love their everyday materials-turned-running functional, but I also carry a great affinity for their own technology! Firstly, Peaceshell is super lightweight, and the addition of the short, soft brim means that the hat sits at only 30 grams. It’s also water repellent which I find swell because rain season coming soon and I need something to protect me on my 38km* long runs for this rainy winter
They offer many other killer colourways and designs so I’ll drop them below.

*definitely not running that far
Ok, these are moving quick. If you haven’t copped them yet, chances are you’re going to struggle to find them for retail.
When the new season of MiUSA was announced, this was my favourite pair that I saw. I didn’t expect this particular colourway to gain as much traction as it has, but I’m hyped by the fact that it seems a lot of people had the same opinion as me (once again, Theodore clones rule the world).
I will admit, I’m disappointed that the 990v3 has been vaulted for the time being because I think that silhouette looks the best (albeit they’re only minor differences). This colourway is reminiscent of JJJJound’s brown/black 990v3 that they dropped in 2022, which has quietly become my favourite from the JJJJound catalogue — Arctic Grey is like JJJJound’s lil bro, but in a good way.

If only I had all the money in the world where I could cop every shoe that caught my eye — but unfortunately, previous purchases hold grave consequences.
Post Archive Faction x On Cloudmonsters
These joints are too cold. I learned about them at the beginning of the year, but they’ve made a bit of a resurgence online which leads me to believe they’re dropping somewhat soon.
I honestly don’t have a lot to say about these that hasn’t been said already on my IG (@jeodoretoel you know the fkn vibes). I do love it when labels have their own approach to established silhouettes by updating the panelling and while my knowledge of PAF is limited, the curved panels are executed perfectly and one hundred percent On brand (get it?) for them. I already love the On Cloudmonster and I’ve shared many times that it’s been one of my favourites to run in, so considering this as a performance shoe is a no-brainer for me.

The shoe will be coming in what looks to be two colourways (but I’ve seen three different ones) — Triple black, and a natural/oat colourway. The triple black is a triple yes from me and I cannot wait to slip these on my dogs for a recovery run.

I’m actually feeling really strange about my choices for the week. They’re weird. I feel like lately I bring clean-cut options to the table but this week I’m all over the place. A little MAGA-redneck-meets-marathon-runner. A little punk-ish general release. And just a good pair of jeans. Let’s dive in.
Satisfy Running PeaceShell Unlined Shorts
No, this isn’t an April Fools joke. These shorts are rad and scratch a strange itch in my brain. They’re so weird and yet I desire them so strongly and so deeply.
Training for a marathon is 50% physical work and 50% choosing what brands you want to invest it to rep on the big day. Maybe you run in Hokas? Or Nike? Or…vomit…On Running? Do you get your shorts from District Vision? Maybe Lulu? Or do you make the right choice and dish out $220 on a pair from Satisfy?
I genuinely think these are brilliant. And if you haven’t figured it out by now: they aren’t actually denim, idiot. They’re printed to appear like denim. A lot of brands have been experimenting with this sort of thing, Our Legacy being the first that comes to mind. But Satisfy might be the first brand to do it with athletic goods. It’s different, but that's what draws me in to Satisfy as a brand — they do their own thing. You don’t have to look further than their moth holed Running Cult Member shirts to see that they aren’t scared to think outside the box of traditional running attire. And having owned both their Salomon & Hoka sneaker collabs, along with their running belt, I can safely say that the quality is solid and worth the price.
Plus you’ll get so many double takes as you run those 26.2 miles and that’ll give you such a serotonin boost that you won’t even feel your legs giving in and your nipples bleeding.
Dr Martens 1461 Steel Toe Boots
I know, I know — these are not my usual style of a recommendation, but before I was into wool overcoats and Goodyear welted boots, I was into the Dr Martens (fake) emo look. There are certain moments in life that, although poor in hindsight, stick with you. No matter how old I get, and no matter how much I steer into the classier side of menswear, I will always love a good old pair of beat up Dr Martens. This specific pair is calling my name.
I think the main thing for me is that these seem to be a mix of two of my fave designer collabs from the last decade, the first being the Raf Simons pair with the exposed steel toe and the second being the Neighborhood pair with the FILTH / FURY writing on the toe. This general release takes the exposed steel toe from one and the writing on the toe box from the other and makes a strange bastardized version for the common people that doesn’t go for on Grailed.

Rarely do I feel like a general release can hold its own against a solid collaboration, but this pair really does. The exposed toe will blind the haters and the “REQUEST THE ORIGINAL & ONLY GENUINE ARTICLE” goes so, so hard. (Lowkey gives off weird nationalistic cult vibes but in a good way.) I love these so much. I have no idea what I’d even wear them with, but I’m adding them to my 2024 ‘To Cop’ list.
Madewell Mens 1991 Straight Leg Jean
A MALL BRAND? I AM RECOMMENDING A MALL BRAND? ME? THE ELITIST + PRETENTIOUS HALF OF THREAD SPACE IS TELLING YOU THAT IT’S OKAY TO SHOP AT MADEWELL? THE SAME PLACE YOUR GIRLFRIEND / WIFE / PARTNER SHOPS AT? (Note: You single guys don’t know the pain of letting your girl walk into Madewell with the understanding that your finances are about to take a massive hit.)
The answer is: YES. In fact, I’m encouraging it. The Madewell revival is happening, mostly due to the revivalist leader Aaron Levine. I’m going to do a deep-dive into mall brands having glow ups next week, but for this week all you have to know is that the guy at the hem of this ship is steering it in a great direction.

Timeless, accessible, and versatile is the best way to explain what Madwell is putting out right now. If you’re just diving into the menswear pool, this is a great place to start. And if you’re already too deep, this might be where you go to soften the blow of all your other recent cops. Good product is good product, a higher cost doesn’t make it better. So close out that ssence sales tab and drive on over to your local mall to try these on. Enjoy.
